Jesse Crombie and his father Tony were catching sand crabs on Thursday around 9.30am, off Wellington Point.
“We were changing the bait and throwing the old mullet heads over the side,” Jesse said.
“The sharks came up and took the bait. Every time we moved to the next pot the sharks would show up. “This continued for approximately one hour. We only videoed one event. “
Jesse said they were anchored adjacent to the leads into the Wellington Point Jetty - no more than 500m off the jetty
“They would have been approx. 3.5m to 4m in length (our boat is 4.2m and they were just slightly smaller than it).”
“We returned Friday morning to change the bait again and remove sand crabs and they showed up again.
"My Dad Tony recorded the video whilst I threw the bait over," Jesse said.
