A joint project between the Redlands' city council's library services, University of the Third Age and museum will collect photo records of any memorabilia to commemorate the 1914-18 war and create a digital record.
The group is looking for any items depicting life in 1914-18 or any memorabilia from family or friends who went to war or helped at home.
If you can help, contact either Bill James from the U3A Camera Club on 3821 2624, the museum on 3286 3494 or the Cleveland Library on 3829 8770 to register interest.
People with memorabilia will be contacted to arrange for times to bring their items to the museum where U3A Camera Club and museum staff will photograph them.
The items will be covered by insurance while they are on loan.
The library's trained staff will then catalogue the photos of the items collected.
The Digital Redlands First World War Record will then be available in local libraries, school libraries and for students working on assignments.
