Cricket Australia report: Southern Stars seal series 3-0
The Story so far - DAN ALLAN reports: Captain Meg Lanning and opener Nicole Bolton have led the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars to a comfortable win in the third one-day international against Pakistan, sealing a three-nil series victory for the home side. The pair put on 135 for the second wicket after the Australian bowlers restricted Pakistan to 1-189 off their 50 overs.
Meanwhile on Sunday, the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars scored a nail-biting five-wicket win in the second One-Day International against Pakistan at Peter Burge Oval, Wellington Point.
The win was sealed with three balls to spare, a firm push through point by Alex Blackwell for four, enough to pass world number eight Pakistan’s total of 121 after morning rain delays reduced the match to a 25-over-a-side affair.
