REDLAND City Council has given residents an extra month to have their say on proposed changes to the Local Laws.
The public consultation period will now close on November 5.
Some of the proposed changes include allowing miniature pigs to be kept in the city, lifting the law governing restraining dogs at night but cracking down on people feeding native birds if it affects neighbours.
Others include keeping roadside memorials appropriate and safe, making it easier for council to direct people to clean up unsightly and overgrown properties and bringing parking fines into line with state penalties.
Have your say on Local Laws until November 5
