REAL estate agents renting out premises on Lamb Island felt the wrath of angry Lamb Island property owners and residents this afternoon.
More than 120 gathered at the community hall to discuss ways to rid the island of "feral" people who failed to keep property tidy.
Calls were made to bring real estate agents into line if tenants failed to look after rental properties.
Residents said if agents failed to take action over unruly tenants, they would be prepared to take their grievances to the Residential Tenancies Authority or the Real Estate Institute of Queensland.
Redland City Council officers attended and will return to investigate removing old car bodies left to rust on residential blocks.
The group heard there was one property on the island where there were 17 dumped cars.
Residents also told island councillor Mark Edwards they wanted tighter controls over feral dogs and cats and asked police to crackdown on drug users.
Officers were also asked to remove fire hazards such as long grass and overgrown bush.
