FREE information sessions about the National Disability Insurance Scheme, for people with a disability and their carers, will be held across Redland City throughout February and March.
Facilitated by the YFS Get Ready team, the participant readiness project is funded by the Queensland Government.
The two-hour introductory sessions cover topics such as what the scheme will mean for people with a disability, why it is called 'insurance', eligibility criteria, and how to start preparing for it.
Forums will continue to be held throughout 2015, with updates as more information becomes available.
