Painter and photographer Anna Niblic Heggie, of Macleay Island, will give a floor talk at the Redland Museum on Saturday, March 14, at 2pm, explaining her current exhibition.
The exhibition was launched on Sunday, February 8, and will run until March 31. It features paintings and photographs about store mannequins. The collection depicts the art form historically and internationally.
At the launch, Anna encouraged patrons to look closely at the work, noting shoulder and hand joints and the smooth complexions of her stylised works.
"They take on their own persona and sometimes can startle you in their stage like settings," she said.

Writer Robbie Kirk, also of Macleay Island, said the works had "captured her" and "inspired her as a writer".
