TEENAGE snooker player Hayden Goode will travel to New Zealand next month to take on the Oceania championships.

The 14-year-old will take on the Under 21 tournament in Auckland from March 17 to 20, having already been crowned the Under 15 Australian champion.
Hayden recently won national competitions in Albury and Southport, and will take on rivals from New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and other Pacific nations.
Hayden has been playing snooker and billiards since he was seven, and has spent the years developing his skills under the coaching of Bob Turpin at Redlands RSL.
He also helps Bob train some of the other up-and-coming youngsters during the practice sessions.
