One man has drowned and another is missing near Albany, WA.
A rescue operation has been launched after a drowned man was found, as the search continues for another person believed to be missing in water off the town's coast.
Police were called to the Salmon Holes area about 7 am Saturday after reports of two people needing help.
Two Sea Rescue crews and two boats were called to the area.
One man was found dead and was taken to Albany Hospital.
A Department of Transport vessel and police are also searching the area for the missing person.
The ABC is reporting the death is the 11th drowning in 32 years at the popular fishing spot.
Authorities launched a safety campaign over Easter to promote safety among the rock fishing community.
