Anzac Day in Australia will this year mark the Centenary of Anzac – the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing in 1915, and the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I. Dawn services and commemorative parades will be held across Australia to mark this day of respect.

Cleveland
5.15am: A Veteran's march leaves from Redlands RSL Sub-Branch and proceeds along Passage Street to the new Centenary Memorial in Kinsail Court Park.
5.30am: Dawn Service at the memorial, after which veterans will march back to the RSL.
10am: Day march assembles at Shore Street West (west of Cleveland Bowls Club).
10.30am: March proceeds along Shore Street West to Centenary Memorial in Kinsail Court Park.
11am: Day Service at Centenary Memorial. People are advised to take water and a hat.

Wellington Point
8am: Redlands North 100th anniversary Anzac Day Service at Wellington Point State High School Assembly Hall. Students, together with Birkdale Scouts, TS Norfolk Navy Cadets, Wellington Point Girl Guides, the Baden Powell Guild and teachers from Wellington Point State High School will join members of St Mary Mackillop Primary School, Birkdale and Birkdale South state schools.
Those attending are encouraged to bring floral tributes. Local residents and community members are invited to attend the 45-minute gathering.
Cleveland
Shore Street West will be closed to all vehicles from Wynyard Street to Wharf Street from midnight on Friday, April 24. Side street access to this section of Shore Street will also be closed.
A Redland City Council spokesperson said vehicles parked in this area of Shore Street after midnight on April 24 would not be able to be moved until after 2pm on Saturday, April 25, when Anzac Day formalities conclude.
Parking will be available at the RSL's vacant lot at 210 Middle Street, in G.J. Walter Park from 4am to 12.30pm on Anzac Day and also in surrounding, unclosed streets.
Redland Bay
Banana Street will be closed from midnight on Friday, April 24. Additional parking will be available on the oval at Sel Outridge Park from 4am to 7.30am on Anzac Day and also in surrounding streets.
Motorists are advised to obey traffic signs and directions and not park in an unsafe or dangerous manner or contrary to directions.
