I refer to the letter "Neglected dogs" (RCB, May 20) and I think I know the dog and property writer P. Davis, of Alexandra Hills, is referring to.
This is a common problem around this suburb which has long been ignored by the council.
There are numerous dogs in many properties left to bark all day, and night at times.
Redland City Council get off your butts and go out and do the job you are being well paid for.
It is not the job of ratepayers to police these animals which you are being paid registration fees to control.
Of course the council's ploy is to wear us down into not pursuing these complaints by their obstructive "14 day" delay referred to.
