THE Rock Church at Capalaba is holding services at Alexandra Hills State School while its new church is being built.
Principal Wayne Fletcher invited the church to share the school facilities.
"I am very excited to be hosting the Rock Church and look forward to building on what is already a very positive and productive partnership," he said.
Rock Church Pastor Liz Rodd said the church had formed a strong bond with the school through school pastor Terry Keen.
She said she looked forward to working with the school.
"The principal has generously offered to allow us to hold our regular church service in their school hall on Sunday mornings," she said.
Church services will be held every Sunday at 9.30am in the Alexandra Hills State School hall at 12 Princeton Avenue.

She said the church was to start new programs at the end of May.
"We will have a music program for young children and their mothers or carers, which we hope to kick off in June," she said.
"Our youth program 'Roar Youth' provides a safe atmosphere for high school age young people to enjoy music, games, activity outings and annual youth camps.
"We currently have a women's craft group that enjoys activities, such as card making, but we welcome women who enjoy craft of any kind in a friendly atmosphere with other like minded women."
She said, while operating out of the school facilities, the church would promote the Rock Family and Community Support Food Link which distributed food parcels to families going through temporary or long-term financial hardship.
