Federal Member for Bowman Andrew Laming stopped by to congratulate Max Employment on gaining more Disability Employment Service participants in a recent reallocation of services.
Mr Laming visited his local Max Employment office, Max Cleveland, to congratulate the staff on their consistently impressive performance in finding jobs for those living with disability.
Mr Laming said he was thrilled with the reallocation of business to high performing Disability Employment Service providers.
"The reallocation is part of a commitment to ensure people with disability have the highest possible chance of finding employment, and keeping it," Mr Laming said.
Cleveland business manager Tracy Lowe said it was great to have the local MP drop by to see how the site changed lives through the DES program.
"Mr Laming was able to witness first-hand the work that our consultants do with our DES participants and the ongoing support we provide them post-placement," Tracy said.
As a Disability Employment Services provider, Max Employment uses a multifaceted approach to help people with disability, injury or health conditions find and maintain sustainable employment.
