TERRY White Chemists founder and chairman Terry White recently visited the Redlands for the second time this year to cut the ribbon on a Terry White Chemists pharmacy.
The pharmacy, in Capalaba Central Shopping Centre, was recently overhauled to bring it better in line with community needs.
Mr White said the pharmacy was "a fantastic resource for helping to improve health outcomes in the local community".
"We know that people are more likely to access health services if they are convenient, and the location of Terry White Chemists Capalaba makes it highly convenient," he said.
"Pharmacy is an industry undergoing significant innovation.
"We wanted to ensure Terry White Chemists Capalaba brought together all the really great community health-focused gains we're seeing as a result of that innovation and the team is to be congratulated for achieving that."
Mr White said the Capalaba pharmacy now offered a more extensive range of pharmacy-based professional health services, preventative health care and health management support, including medication checks, heart health checks, management support for diabetes, asthma and weight control, and more.
He was joined at the opening by pharmacy owner Brendon Reck and Capalaba MP Don Brown.
