The “Cool School” is aiming to get just a little bit cooler, with fair profits going to the Coolnwynpin P&C to buy giant fans in the school hall.
The fair will be a chance for students to showcase their ongoing rejuvenation of the Carramar bush area on the school grounds.
They will have displays of the planting process and other gardening activities which support native wildlife.
Capalaba MP Don Brown will unveil a sign explaining the project, which was made possible through a state government Everyone’s Environment grant and Redland Council's 20 Million Trees Program at the Indigiscapes centre.
Along with the displays, there will be 35 stalls selling market produce, raffles and a monster silent auction.
A jumping castle, giant slide and pony rides will keep kids entertained while parents can have a chair massage, a coffee or a BBQ lunch.
Principal Mick Lawrance said he was looking forward to the group performances of jujitsu and Irish line dancing.
The fair runs from 10am to 3pm.
