The Cleveland event has grown to be the second biggest Million Paws Walk in Queensland.
Last year it generated about $17,000 profit for the RSPCA.
The walk started and ended at Henry Ziegenfusz Park.
There was entertainment, food and businesses on show as part of the fundraising event.
The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is held annually at 22 locations around Queensland.
