A 29-YEAR-OLD Meadowbrook man has been arrested by Cleveland police two days in a row.
The second arrest was for a crime that occurred within hours of his release from the Cleveland watchhouse.
The man was first arrested in Thornlands on Saturday in connection with a vehicle stolen in Hawthorne.
He was released from the Cleveland watchhouse about 1.30am on Sunday, only to be arrested again that night.
Police will allege the man stole Toyota Landcruiser from a panel beater in Shore Street West, Ormiston early on Sunday morning.
The business reported the theft to police about 9am on Sunday.
A shed on the premises had been broken into and keys and the one vehicle stolen.
Police found the vehicle in Meadowbrook about 10.30pm on Sunday.
They arrested the man who faces 11 charges including four each of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break and receiving tainted property.
These charges were added to the six charges he already faced for the Hawthorn theft.
The man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court on September 20.
