A CAR stolen from Bunnings Capalaba car park on Thursday last week has been recovered.
Police were called by paramedics who went to a man who appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel of a car in Ascot later that evening.
Police found the car had registration plates stolen from two other vehicles.
A check of the VIN number identified the car as the one stolen from Capalaba.
A 25-year-old Underwood man has been charged.

A CAR was stolen from the Bunnings Capalaba car park on Thursday evening.
Police said a grey Nissan Skyline Coupe belonging to a person working at the store had been stolen between 6pm and 7pm.
