Located in the beautiful coastal township of Cleveland, the Australian Industry Trade College was established with support from local industry leaders, government representatives, training providers, employers, parents and young people.
The AITC is not simply a senior school, but a supportive community which understands that not all young people learn in the same way.
Driven by industry needs, AITC students are educated and prepared ready for work.

Students at the AITC Redlands campus benefit from a quality senior schooling aimed at the specific demands of young people with aspirations to excel in a trade of their choice.
Young people complete their senior secondary education, Year 11 and 12 to obtain a Queensland Certificate of Education whilst beginning a school based apprenticeship in an industry.
The college has more than 600 apprenticeships and traineeships on offer in all major industries including construction, automotive, hospitality and health.
The AITC supports young people’s search for a suitable apprenticeship by employing employment consultants whose role it is to liaise with employers and to coach and mentor young people to ensure that they are matched to the most effective and long term career.
The Australian Industry Trade College established on the Gold Coast in 2009, boasts that more than 90 per cent of AITC students graduate every year with a full time apprenticeship.
Cleveland’s newest school is already bucking the trend for youth employment by signing up young people into new apprenticeships every week.
Following this successful trend, the AITC Redlands Campus is offering a complete senior program for Year 11 and 12 in 2017.
