Send us a picture of a woman who inspires you – it could be your mother, a friend, a volunteer or someone at work – and brief details about why they are inspirational.
Photos and details will be included in a gallery to be published on our website on International Women’s Day so do ensure you have the permission of the person you nominate.
Pictures and details can be emailed to cheryl.goodenough@fairfaxmedia.com.au or sent as a private message on the Redland City Bulletin’s Facebook page.
Photos need to be submitted by 10am on March 8, 2017 for inclusion in our gallery.
This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is #BeBoldForChange with the focus on creating a more gender inclusive working world.
The International Women’s Day website states that the World Economic Forum predicts the gender gap will not close entirely until 2186.
