Why Swim and Survive?
The Swim and Survive program not only focuses on learning to swim and developing a strong, effective swimming technique, but the concept of self-preservation and learning rescue skills.
Taught progressively, children learn at an early age ‘how to be rescued’ teaching them the importance of remaining calm, listening to a rescuer and self-help by kicking.
As lessons progress they learn more complex methods of rescue and how not to endanger themselves.

Water safety for everyone
Cleveland Aquatic Centre offers a year around program designed to provide steady progress in both swimming and survival skills in children and adults of all ages.
