Dollars raised from the The Cage’s second annual Go M.A.D masquerade cocktail event on Friday, March 24 at 6.30pm will help the charity provide free counselling and other services.
The Cage’s founder Linda Grieves said the event was part of the Cage’s Go Make a Difference Campaign, which was designed to help cover the foundation’s costs.
While the cause is serious, Ms Grieves said guests would enjoy canapes and cocktails in an evening filled with live entertainment, auctions, raffles and fun.
She said the dress-up themed night was not to be missed, with laughs promised from guessing the identities of masked patrons.
“There is always a touch of mystery,” she said.
While the masquerade ball will cater to an adult audience, children are invited to a family fun day and Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 8.
Tickets for the masquerade canapes and cocktail event are $70 and can be bought by phoning the Cage on 3829 2644.
