Brisbane residents' hunger for the city's best food truck fare will continue to be satiated by the city council after a successful trial.
The council invested $80,000 to launch Brisbane Food Trucks website in July last year, committing to a six-month trial.
The website allows residents to see where and when their favourite food trucks will be serving as well as a platform for vendors to book premium food truck sites.
The website has had 273,347 visitors since its launch.
On Thursday the council confirmed that the initiative would continue after the trial finished on March 31.
City Planning chairman Julian Simmonds said the trial was a success but admitted a few changes needed to be made.
"Council will be looking to make a final decision on confirming premium sites as well as fine-tuning the draft guidelines and procedures," he said.
The cost of delivering the ongoing program were yet to be revealed but Cr Simmonds said they were expected to be minimal and related to signage and website hosting.
"Food trucks complement our high-quality food businesses in Brisbane and are a great addition to pop-up events, markets and public spaces.
"The idea behind this initiative was to identify appropriate sites and times to accommodate food trucks, without impacting other permanent food businesses across the city."
Data on the site bookings was distributed at Tuesday's council meeting with the city sites revealed as firm favourites for vendors.
The Botanic Gardens were revealed as the most popular spot by far for vans to book during the past eight months.
The food truck bookings at premium locations since July 7 were:
