The latest incident comes as the police investigation into three cases of vandalism that occurred last year at two Redlands schools, including Birkdale State School, have reached a dead end.
Police said graffiti was painted on the the sports hall wall at Birkdale State School overnight on May 2.
Last year, on April 30, nearly 50 windows at the school were shattered.
That damage was expected to cost the government about $35,000 to be fixed.
Graffiti vandals also tagged the school on October 25, 2016, scrawling on walls near toilets and an undercover area.
Earlier in October, vandals caused about $40,000 worth of damage at Coolnwynpin State School.
Police released pictures of paint, eggs, milk and custard smeared in a demountable that housed the before and after school care facility.
Drains were blocked and water left to run, iPads and an iPhone were stolen and a fire extinguisher sprayed around the room.
A police spokesperson said there had been no charges in the three cases of vandalism reported last year.
“All three matters have been filed pending further information as all avenues of inquiry have been exhausted,” the spokesperson said.
