POLICE suspect two men went on a crime spree breaking into three Mount Cotton houses on Wednesday morning.
The men were seen getting into a white sedan near to a house in Coolaman Court about 10.30am.
One house in that street was found to have been broken into, and one each in Ti Tree and Parsonia courts.
The intruders rummaged through the houses, stealing jewellery and other property.
Entry was gained by removing or damaging security screens.
The registration plate on the sedan was found to been stolen previously.
Birkdale
Graffiti was sprayed on walls at Birkdale State School overnight on May 10 and between 12.30 and 9.30pm on May 14.
Capalaba
A 37-year-old woman was charged with shop stealing after she was allegedly caught with about $400 of cosmetics and clothing from a store at Capalaba Park shopping centre.
Police said customers reported seeing a woman pushing a toddler in a pram and putting items into a bag.
Police will allege they found the items in a duffel bag and a handbag with a false base.

Five windows were damaged at Cleveland District State High School between May 12 and May 15.
Ormiston
A white Toyota Hilux was stolen from a government premises in Delancey Street about 3pm on May 16.
Thornlands
A 25-year-old Zimbabwean national was arrested for drink-driving after a vehicle crashed into a pole in Ziegenfusz Road just before midnight on May 12.
Police will allege the man returned a breathalyser reading of 0.132.
Wellington Point
Jewellery was stolen from a Riverton Drive house after intruders smashed a window to gain entry during the day on May 16.
