DISABILITY support service Multicap has brought in the big guns Reds players Rob Simmons and Samu Kerevi to help open its Capalaba Laundretto.
Reds stars and Wallabies Simmons and Kerevi put their off-field abilities to the test last week in support of people with disability.
They put the team’s dirty jerseys through the wash to try out the smart technology at the Laundretto.
The Laundretto has been set up by disability support service Multicap, offering employment and ongoing training to people with disability.
Rob and Samu teamed up with Disability Services Assistant Minister Jane Prentice at the official opening of the laundromat which is on Redland Bay Road.
Multicap’s chief operations officer Seth Grantley said the Laundretto would employ three people with disability and provide good service to the local community.
