Redland City Council deputy mayor Wendy Boglary will open the Cleveland Caravan, Camping, Boating and 4x4 Expo on Friday.
Event organiser Bob Carroll said the ceremony would take place at the entrance to the Cleveland Showgrounds at 9am.
“The Redland City Council have been very progressive to ensure that this event continues to happen in Cleveland,” he said. “All councillors have really got behind this new event.”
Visitors to the show will also be able to take a look at the award-winning Redland Museum.
Mr Carroll said Friends of the Museum would serve tea, coffee and homemade fares, conduct blacksmithing shows and have a range of old machinery and tractors operating.
He said the expo, in its third year, had doubled in size with more than 150 manufacturers showcasing camper trailers, caravans, motor homes, cars, 4x4s and boats.
The show will run from Friday September 22 to Sunday September 24.
