A high tea will be held among the current Anzac display at the Redland Museum in time for Mother’s Day.
The morning tea will be held from 10.30am to noon on Wednesday, May 9 at a cost of $20 to members and $25 to non members.
High tea will comprise sandwiches of salmon, red onioin and mayonnaise, cucumber and cream cheese and ham and mustard as well as mini pumpkin and feta quiche, mini cupcakes, macarons, scones with jam and cream.
There will be limitless tea and coffee.
Events coordinator Tara Young said museum members were excited to hold the high tea in the events room.
“It will be amongst the Anzac display creating lots of atmosphere and having the guests surround by the artefacts will be a real crowd pleaser,” Ms Young said.
Entertainment is being provided by Here’s to Life giving a performance of song and dance and there will be a mother’s day raffle.
