THREE women have reported being assaulted in two incidents at the Capalaba bus interchange on Wednesday afternoon.
Police clarified the ages of the victims as a 52-year-old woman and her 24-year-old relative and a 21-year-old woman.
Police said the woman and a female relative reported they were surrounded by about eight teenage girls after they got off the bus from Carindale.
The pair said the girls had been causing a disturbance on the bus.
Police said both women were punched in the face.
Around the same time about six girls approached a 21-year-old woman asking her for a cigarette.
When she refused and walked away from them, they followed her.
Police said she was punched and kicked after falling to the ground.
Her phone and wallet were stolen.
The woman was transported in a stable condition to hospital.

A GIRL has been taken to hospital after being assaulted and robbed at the Capalaba bus interchange.
A police spokesman said the girl was robbed of her phone about 3.15pm on Wednesday at the interchange near Dollery Road and Redland Bay Road.
He said another girl and her mother were also assaulted during the incident.
Within a few hours, police were interviewing four girls in connection with the assaults and robbery.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said paramedics transported one person in a stable condition to Redland Hospital.
