SHOPPERS have quizzed police about how exactly to approach roundabouts and other intersections at a coffee with a cop event.
Some motorists might already understand road rules but Capalaba police want people to know there is no such thing as a silly question.
Officers were out in force today at Alexandra Hills Shopping Centre answering queries about how to keep safe at 2 Shots Espresso cafe.

Capalaba station officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Larissa Miller said enjoying a coffee with police was a great way to meet cops and volunteers dedicated to stopping crime and promoting public safety.
“It’s such a simple idea and people really enjoy it,” she said.
“They can ask questions they may have thought were too unimportant to visit the station about.”
The Coffee with a Cop program was set up three years ago by Capalaba Police Beat’s Senior Constable Samantha Schofield and administration officer Pauline Dunn.
It was an Australian first but has since been rolled-out across Queensland, New South Wales and other states, Senior Sergeant Miller said.
Another community liaison initiative, in which plush teddies are given to vulnerable children caught-up in emergency situations, is also being spearheaded by Capalaba police Constable Vrinda McCauley.
Senior Sergeant Miller said the work by Capalaba cops to build community rapport had been outstanding.
“It’s been an innovative and great way to build relationships,” she said.
