A man is accused of trying to smuggle $1 million worth of ice through Hobart airport in his underpants.
Tasmania Police on Saturday charged the 31-year-old with trafficking a controlled drug.
Sniffer dog handlers arrested the Gagebrook man on Friday after he arrived in Hobart on a flight from Sydney.
Police say he had 1kg of crystal methamphetamine concealed in his underpants and that the drugs had an estimated street value of $1 million.
"This is $1 million of drugs that will not be able to be sold in Tasmania and will not be able to harm Tasmanian people and communities," they said in a Facebook post.
The man is in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
