THE highest price paid in eight years for a Raby Bay property has been achieved by developers Chris and Virginia Anderson who have sold their family home at 8 Sentinel Court, Raby Bay.

The beachfront property made $5,250,000.
It was the third highest price paid for a home at Raby Bay.
Selling agent Ryan McCann from First National Real Estate said the 100 square, beachside home created big interest.
“There’s no doubt the top end of the market in Redlands is moving and moving quickly,” Mr McCann said.
“When a rare property like this becomes available buyers respond.”
The home is on 1426 square metres and includes a seven-car garage, gym with its own bathroom, guest quarters, a private marina berth, a back-yard boat launch ramp, 7 metre vaulted high ceilings with floor to ceiling glass walls and doors opening on to a pool and terrace.
The Andersons have lived there for three years.
Mr Anderson said the price reflected where the Redland market was going.
“More and more people are looking to the Redland City and the Redland Coast lifestyle as a real alternative, but they still want all the conveniences, so properties like this are now back in vogue,” he said.
“I think there’s only 16 properties in Queensland that offer this type of beachfront living and it’s hats off to the architects and original owners, as it is a solidly built home that takes full advantage of its position.”
The Andersons will move into a penthouse at their Toondah Outlook development.
