One-day cup holders Western Australia strengthened their grip on top spot with a crushing six-wicket win over Victoria on Wednesday.
WA raced to victory at Melbourne's Junction Oval, reaching 4-202 off just 28.3 overs.
The result was never in doubt after WA put on 90 for the opening wicket from just 67 balls in pursuit of 201 for victory.
Rookie Josh Philippe hit 65 off 62 balls, while partner Josh Inglis was even more brutal on the bowling in thrashing 42 off 27.
Marcus Stoinis maintained the momentum, bringing up the winning runs with a spectacular six in a whirlwind cameo of 47 not out off 26 balls against his former state.
Without injured pair Will Sutherland and Chris Tremain, Victoria's inexperienced bowling attack had no answers and ultimately part-time spinner Glenn Maxwell (1-15) looked the most dangerous.
Victoria fared little better with the bat being bowled out for 200 after 45.4 overs.
Only a half-century from Peter Handscomb (57) and resilient knock down the order from wicketkeeper Seb Gotch (43) kept the innings together.
Andrew Tye (3-47) claimed the best figures for WA, while leg-spinner Usman Qadir shone on debut to return 3-50.
It was a third win succession to open the summer for WA, who also collected a bonus point.
