BAILEY Cunningham is hoping for plenty of thrills, but no spills, when he competes in the Jet Ski World Cup in Thailand.
It could be hard, with the 20-year-old set to ride a souped-up 600 horsepower jet ski.
But the Cleveland man said the high speed risk would be worth it.

Cunningham – who was unknown to world cup organisers before asking them to compete – said he hoped to qualify for the Pro GP class, described as the F1 of jet ski racing.
He will race in heats at the cup for the final event, with a win to his name able to propel him further on the world stage.
“It could put me in the top rank and help me put my name with the top guys,” he said.
The 20-year-old is currently ranked number two in Australia for Pro Runabout.
Cunningham is one of four Australians set to compete in the world cup, where he will also race in the ProAm Open Runabout.
Efforts are underway to raise funds to send him there.
About $5000 is needed to pay for flights, accommodation and event entry, with donations accepted through the Australian Sports Foundation’s fundraising page.
Bailey said he was visiting the gym three times a week to improve his strength and fitness ahead of the international competition.
He can travel more than 100 miles per hour on a jet ski while maintaining control and dreams of becoming a professional jet skier, like his idol, James Bushell from the United Kingdom.
