FIREFIGHTERS have extinguished a fire which broke out in a home along Finucane Road, Alexandra Hills.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesperson said the blaze, contained to the dwelling’s kitchen, had caused a smokey haze.
Emergency services were called to the address about 3pm on Wednesday, with the fire extinguished less than 30 minutes later.
It is understood no one was hurt in the incident but the air was being monitored for toxins, with paramedics on standby.
