UPDATE 3PM:
A PERSON has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition after a crash involving a motorbike and vehicle.
Paramedics were sent to the intersection of Boat Street and Colburn Avenue about 1.55pm after receiving reports that a motorbike rider – believed to be a postie – had been hurt.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson had earlier said initial reports indicated the motorbike rider sustained minor injuries and was conscious and breathing when emergency services were called.
Queensland Ambulance Service could not confirm if the patient transported via ambulance was the motorbike rider or not, when later contacted by Redland City Bulletin.

A POSTIE on a motorbike has been hurt in a crash with a vehicle at Victoria Point, according to reports made to emergency services.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesperson said paramedics had arrived on scene at the intersection of Colburn Avenue and Boat Street after being called at 1.55pm.
The spokesperson said it was understood the motorbike rider sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The rider was conscious and breathing and would be assessed by paramedics.
