DONATIONS of gifts are needed to help Redland City Bulletin make Christmas magical for struggling Redlands families.
Generous individuals, businesses and groups can help by placing wrapped presents, suitable for kids or teenagers, underneath Redland City Bulletin’s Christmas tree by Thursday, December 6.
All presents will be given to children via Redland Community Centre, which is expected to help more than 400 needy families this year at Christmas.

Redland Community Centre spokesperson Kate Taylor said gifts were needed for about 600 children, with presents for teenagers also on the charity’s wish list.
The charity usually received plenty of presents for younger children but more were needed for teens.
Ms Taylor said boys, aged eight to 16 years, could sometimes miss out on a Christmas present because of a lack of suitable gifts donated.
Items like iTunes gift cards and arts and craft activities could make good presents for older boys.
Cosmetic and bathroom packs could be a good option for teenage girls.
Kindy kids are also collecting gift donations on behalf of Redland Community Centre and Champions Food Bank.
Teacher Sheena Hewlett said people wanting to help her kindergarten class collect items could contact her on 0412743362.
She said the children’s presents donated to the Champions Food Bank cause would be handed out by Redland City deputy mayor Lance Hewlett and councillor Paul Golle to families at Champions Foodbank on Friday, December 14 about 8am.
