A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested after a car crashed into a tree on Vienna Road at Alexandra Hills on Friday afternoon.
Cleveland police said it would be alleged in court that the Coorparoo teenager had driven dangerously in a blue sedan before the crash, which occurred about 3.40pm.
Police allege the boy resisted arrest after the crash.
The teenager appeared in the Brisbane Children’s Court on Saturday.
Firefighters, paramedics and police responded to the crash, which caused partial blockages of Vienna Road near the intersection of Cambridge Drive.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesperson said the teenager was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital with facial injuries.
