A BIRKDALE teenager has been charged after allegedly stabbing two men in Cleveland in a late night attack.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said it would be alleged that the 17-year-old had argued with the two men at a Middle Street hotel, understood to be the Cleveland Sands, about 12.20am on Friday, December 7 before leaving the premise.
“It will be further alleged that all three became involved in another argument in Shore Street a short time later during which time two men, aged 20 and 22, were both allegedly stabbed,” the spokesman said.
The spokesperson said the two men, also from Birkdale, were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after the alleged attack by the teen.
The 20-year-old was taken in a critical condition with stab wounds to his neck and torso, with the 22-year-old transported with non-life-threatening wounds to his torso.
The 20-year-old was in a stable condition at the PA hospital three days later on Monday.
The 17-year-old was charged with unlawful wounding and acts intended to maim.
