AUSTRALIA Day will be celebrated across the Redlands with live music, food and quintessentially Aussie activities.
Redland City Council urged revellers to celebrate responsibly and clean up after themselves.
A free shuttle bus will also be offered on January 26 and January 28 along Main Road between Wellington Point reserve and the Wellington Point shops. The service will run between 7am and 6pm.
The Grand View Hotel
The Grand View Hotel will celebrate Australia Day with live music from 11:30am, including local bush band Stone the Crows and the Aussie Tribute Band. Music will be accompanied by cold beer and fresh seafood. Book here.
Victoria Point Tavern
The Victoria Point Tavern will hold a crab race on January 26 to raise funds for the Danii Foundation for children with type one diabetes. There will also be a thong throwing competition and live music. Celebrations start at 2pm. More information and booking here.

The Dynamics will be playing Aussie hits at the Victoria Point Sharks Club from 6:30pm. More information here.
Redland Museum
Mates Theatre Genesis will present their Australia Day play at the Redland Museum from 6pm. Ticket cost is $35 and includes a two-course dinner and entry to the museum. A bar and raffle tickets will also be on offer. The play run over seven nights and two matinee shows between January 25 and February 3, and raises funds for the museum. Redlands RSL
Free live music and Aussie lunch specials are on offer at the Redlands RSL from 1pm. Performers include Daniel Stowman, Michael Castle and the Street Cafe Band and the John Farnham Experience. More information here.
Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club
The Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club will once again hold their Australia Day rally, starting the day with a free breakfast at Ormiston State School and a vehicle display before embarking on their rally run through the streets of the Redlands. The cars will pull up at Redlands Sporting Club at the conclusion of the rally for lunch. More information here.

The Coochiemudlo Progress Association are once again hosting their foreshore markets, with local arts, crafts, produce, clothing, food and music at Main Beach. More information here.

From Friday to Monday, the Redland Bay Hotel will host a four-day long weekend Australia Day party, with live music featuring the Adam Hole Band and a pavlova eating competition. More information here.
