REDLANDS Hockey Association (RHA) is thrilled to announce that hockey superstar Mark Knowles will be running a coaching clinic for their junior hockey players.
The former Australian captain is known for winning gold at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2014 World Cup.
Players of all skill levels, from 10-18 years old, will learn and practice basic, intermediate and advanced hockey skills from Mark and other RHA coaches on Sunday, February 10.
RHA commences its 12th season from April 2019, with games played at Henry Ziegenfusz Park in Fitzroy St, Cleveland.
Over the years, RHA has grown in popularity to 300 members from age four to seniors that come together each Saturday to play both competitively and for fun.
Vice president and competition director Tammy Drews said RHA prides itself on its community feel and inclusiveness.
“We have players of all ages and skill levels, and are always looking for more to join our family.”
Mark Knowles Junior Coaching Clinic (Sign-on event two) is on Sunday, February 10 at 2.pm – 5.pm, Henry Ziegenfusz Park in Fitzroy St, Cleveland. The cost is $50 per participant.
Sign-on event one and three will be held on Saturday, February 2 at Victoria Point Shopping Centre and Saturday February 16 at SportsF1rst, 24/200 Old Cleveland Rd, Capalaba. Both events are 10.am – 2.pm. Contact: info@redlandshockey.com.au.
