A 34-YEAR-OLD man has allegedly been found with 12 grams of methamphetamine and $3680 in cash stuffed into a red pencil case.
Redland Bay police said the man was detained and searched at a property on Orchid Drive, Mount Cotton, after he appeared to be acting suspiciously about 10pm on Tuesday.
It is understood the street value of 12 grams of methamphetamine is between $2400 to $6000.
The man was charged with drug-related offences, including possession of dangerous drugs, utensils and property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
POLICE are looking for a teenager who punched a 26-year-old man in the jaw on Middle Street.
The teenage man was described as in his late teens, Caucasian in appearance and with black hair.
Cleveland police said the injured man told officers that he had been walking along Middle Street on Sunday about 8pm when was approached by the teen.
The teenager had followed the man, asking him for cigarettes before hitting him in the jaw and knocking him to the ground.
Police said the man chased the teenager about 20 metres. The teenager fled on foot.
POLICE are investigating an attempted break-in at a Middle Street dental surgery.
Cleveland police said CCTV footage showed a man checking doors to the business before climbing on the clinic’s roof.
The incident happened about 8.30pm on Monday.
THE driver’s side window of a car parked on Wharf Street was smashed between January 9 and January 14.
Cleveland police said the car was also left dented and scratched.
ABOUT $45 worth of alcohol was stolen from a glamping tent at Sirromet Winery.
The theft happened sometime between January 8 and January 12.
Burglary, car steal
A WHITE Hyundai i30 was stolen from an Orchid Drive home after its keys were pinched.
Redland Bay police said the residents had heard noises and smelt something strange inside their home before seeing their car driven away about 11.45pm on Tuesday.
The offender stole the car keys after getting into the home through an unlocked laundry door. A wallet, bank cards, cash and house keys were also stolen.
The 2014 Hyundai was registered as 631VME.
ALCOHOL was stolen from a fridge on the back patio of an Albert Street home between 11pm and 11.30pm on Monday.
Cleveland police said they believed two women were involved.
Theft from a car
AN iPhone 7 was taken from an unlocked car parked on Bainbridge Street between 10pm on Monday and 4.45am the next day.
Cleveland police urged people to lock their cars to prevent thefts.

Police said Cold Rock ice creamery was targeted about 1pm on Monday before Funky Mexican Cantina was hit less than two hours later.
Break and enter
INTRUDERS used a rock and pot plant to smash the window of a classroom block at Redland Bay State School.
Redland Bay police said the offenders had left after activating a classroom alarm about 4.45pm on Saturday.
No property was reported stolen.
A CANE Street resident has been robbed while having a garage sale.
Redland Bay police said about $10,000 worth of jewellery was taken from the home on Saturday between 7am and 2pm.
The thief got into the home through an unlocked back sliding door.
Rings, chains and diamond jewellery were taken, police said.
AN ELDERLY man has scratched a car parked too close to his own at Crystal Waters Shopping Centre.
The man, aged in his 70s, was caught by a nearby shop’s CCTV scratching the car on Sunday about 11am.
His vehicle was parked in a disabled parking bay at the time.
THE window of a house on Godfrey Street was smashed when a small wheel was thrown over a fence about 1.30pm on Tuesday.
A CAMPER trailer was stolen from a shed on Bunker Road between December 15 and January 11.
