Although netball is a non-contact sport, it is a fast-paced and intensive game and is a sport that has multiple physical and mental benefits.
Physical benefits include, improved hand-eye co-ordination, developed depth perception, increased reaction time, building muscle strength and improved body flexibility and nimbleness.
Mental benefits include, making new friends, team work skills and confidence and learning to deal with adversity, through experiencing a game loss.
Dolphins Netball Club has been established in the Redlands for more than 10 years.
We are affiliated with the Redlands Netball Association (RNA), and we play and train at Pinklands Sporting Complex, Thornlands.
We welcome players from all parts of the Redlands, and cater for players aged seven – 19 years. Boys can even play up to the age of fourteen!
Dolphins Netball Club is a small, family orientated club, priding ourselves on upholding the values of teamwork and a positive attitude.
Being a small club enables our committee to get to know our players and their families; you are not just a name and number on the list.
Our committee is dedicated to helping players and coaches develop netball skills, while building new friendships and having fun!
If you would like to come down and meet our friendly committee, there is a Sign-on Day at Pinklands Netball Courts on Saturday, February 2 at 8am – 12pm.
Joining us is easy, just go to our website.
