St George Illawarra’s Josh Kerr – a rugby league player who hails from North Stradbroke Island – has been named to play in the Indigenous All Stars representative team.

Kerr will join four Gold Coast Titans players in the Harvey Norman All Stars.
The new generation of Indigenous and Maori players have been selected to kick off the rugby league season.
The Titans have the biggest representation of players from the 16 NRL clubs, with four Titans – Tyrone Peachey, Nathan Peats, Tyrone Roberts and Leilani Latu – selected for the match.
A fifth Titan, Gold Coast captain Ryan James, also was selected but was ruled out with a knee injury.
His replacement is Kerr.
