Recently, this support was repaid with part of the profit from the show used to purchase two saws for shed members. The saws will be used to owrk on community projects, Men's Shed projects or personal projects for shed members.
The Men's Shed program is designed to maintain men's health and well being by making its members feel productive, connect socially and contribute to the community. ctive body and mind.

Coming up for Mates is a theatre jam night on March 23. The event offers a chance to show talent in music, acting and story telling with acts to include poetry, monologue, story and song. There are no judges and no prizes. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non members with the show to start at 7.30pm.
On March 30 there will be an active intensive workshopwith Michael Beh being held at the Birkdale School of Arts hall. Beh is noted for his skills in nurturing and developing emerging theatre artists. Cost is $50 for members and $70 for non members (inclusive of membership until September 30).
