DEVELOPER Fiteni Homes wants input from Redland residents on an 800-house development to be built on Double Jump Road.
The project will be on 80 hectares of land within the state government-demarcated Victoria Point Local Development Area.
Fiteni has lodged four development applications for Woodbury with council.
Fiteni Homes land development manager Vaughn Bowden said Woodbury would have bushland, parks and pedestrian and cycle trails and be a catalyst for road upgrades.
Homes in Woodbury would mostly be stand-alone houses.
"As Woodbury will be home to the next generation of Redland residents, we believe it is important that local residents get to have a say on the character of the new community and how they would like us to design its recreation and nature network as well as community facilities," Mr Bowden said.
The developer has opened an interactive display at the Victoria Point Cinema Complex where comment can be provided.
"We are committed to involving the local community in the development of Woodbury and are hoping to welcome many people along to the cinema complex to see our plans and share their thoughts by participating in the many fun and interactive activities we have planned," Mr Bowden said.
"The opening of the Woodbury Engagement Hub marks a major milestone for the Redland community, and is part of a wide-reaching community engagement program that seeks the input of all Redlands residents, with a particular focus on families, teenagers and children."
Fiteni Homes will also run an online survey, visioning workshops and an engagement program for young people.
"Woodbury represents a bright new future for the Redlands and we look forward to creating a place that celebrates the best our area has to offer," Mr Bowden said.
