POLICE have released images and video of an alleged serious assault of a bus driver at Birkdale late last year.
Detectives from the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch released images of a woman who may be able to assist with their investigations.
Police will allege that around 2.45pm on Thursday, December 20 a woman verbally abused a 47-year-old male bus driver when the bus was stopped at the Birkdale Railway Station bus stop on Napier Street.
The woman then allegedly began yelling and threatening the driver before spitting in his face.
She then exited the bus and was last seen walking on the railway platform with a man.
The woman is described as aged in her mid-twenties, approximately 175 centimetres tall with an olive complexion, proportionate build and dark hair.
