Enjoy a stroll down the Cambridge Parade high street, fossicking in boutiques such as nautically inspired Ebb+Flow Boutique Studio, Bella Boutiqo, specialising in Italian fashion crafted from natural fabrics, or the botanical Frond Flowers and Home.
Le Bistro, Cambridge Lane or Manly Kitchen provide opportunity for some coffee and cake sustenance. Dining with a waterview is always enjoyable, and Tide Wine Bar on William Gunn Jetty is the ideal location for this.
Standout for fresh seafood is Shucks Oyster Bar + Kitchen - showcasing the subtle, regional variations in oysters from around Australia, all shucked to order.
Harbourside Events
Little Bayside Park is home to regular harbourside markets and events which add to the hustle and bustle of frequent crowds each weekend.
The Creative Craft Markets held every Sunday is now the longest running market in Brisbane and has a loyal following of market goers.
The Jan Powers Farmers Market is held on the first and third Saturday of each month. Enjoy chatting to local producers and taste your way through the morning bounty.
Free Movies in the Park are also staged in Little Bayside Park on the first Saturday of each month. Popular with families, upcoming titles include "Inside Out", "Ferdinand" and "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle". Enjoy a picnic or grab some takeaway food from the local restaurants under the stars.
Village app adds value to visitor experience
Manly Harbour Village traders have launched a new smartphone app to help visitors get more out of their Village experience.
The Manly Harbour Village app allows users to view current deals and offers at participating businesses and rewards users for visiting the precinct. It also provides an easy reference directory of all village businesses.
Manly Harbour Village Chamber of Commerce president David Farley said careful research had been undertaken given recent press about the lack of value offered by many large retailers' reward schemes.
"Unlike typical reward schemes, the village app provides immediate value to consumers. People can start to redeem rewards after as few as four visits.
Competitions are offered to win some sought after prizes including bay cruises, dining vouchers and accommodation.
In addition, our traders have been incredibly supportive by offering great deals and discounts solely to customers who use the app."
