The Tigers were unable to bounce back from a 177 run deficit on the second weekend of the sixth grade final against Valley.
Saturday's rain meant just a handful of overs were possible on the third day, leaving the Tigers with 90 overs on Sunday to turn the match around.
Despite a strong start from Harry Short (53) at the top of the order and some valuable tail end cameos from Wes Aspeling (47) and Isaiah Shepherd (37), the Tigers were unable to prevent an outright defeat.
The top order again struggled against the Valley bowlers as the Tigers lost their first 5 wickets for 83 in much the same vein as the first innings.
The bottom order saw the Tigers post 195 to avoid an innings defeat, but the match lasted just 3.3 overs beyond that point as the Valley top three scored the 12 runs required to secure a nine wicket win.
The Tigers did have some joy during this period though, with Harry Short picking up the prized scalp of Michael Shinnick to take his season wicket tally to 19.
The Tigers will celebrate another successful season at their annual awards night on April 13 at the Redlands Sporting Club.
