
THOUSANDS are expected to gather at Anzac Day ceremonies across the Redlands this year to show their respect for Australians past and present who served their country.
April 25 will mark the 104 years since the ANZACs landed at Gallipoli for Australia and New Zealand's first major military action in World War I.
Services will be held across the mainland and the islands, with some being followed by traditional gunfire breakfasts, entertainment and games of two-up.
Cleveland
Gunfire breakfast: 4.30 am for League members, veterans, serving personnel, partners and carers at Redlands RSL.
Dawn parade step-off: 5.20am from Redlands RSL.
Dawn service: From 5.30am at Anzac Centenary Park.
Breakfast: 6am at Redlands RSL Sails on Shore restaurant. Adults $10, children 12 and under $7.50.
Flyover: F18 Superhornet will fly over the area. Time to be confirmed.
Main parade step-off: 10.20am at Shore Street West near the Cleveland Sharks Bowls Club.
Main service: 11am at Anzac Centenary Park.
Afterwards: Traditional game of two-up from 1pm in the RSL downstairs carpark. Live entertainment by Boomshanka from 1pm. The RSL will be open to the public from 12pm.
Changed traffic conditions: Changed traffic conditions will be in place from 11pm, Wednesday 24 April until 1pm, Thursday 25 April on Kinsail Court, Middle and Passage streets, Shore Street West, Shore Street North and Sommersea Drive for the Cleveland ANZAC Day Service.
Road closures will be in place on Kinsail Court, Passage Street, Shore Street West, Shore Street North and Sommersea Drive.

Macleay Island
Dawn march step-off: 5.15am from the corner of Kate and Beelong streets.
Dawn service: 5.30am at Pat's Park.
Gunfire breakfast: Immediately following the dawn service at Pat's Park.
North Stradbroke Island
Dawn march: 5.15am from Stradbroke Island Butchery along Stradbroke Place, Dunwich. Assembly at 5.10am.
Dawn service: 5.30am at Welsby Street cenotaph.
Breakfast: 6am at North Stradbroke Island RSL Memorial Club on Mallon Street, Dunwich.
Main parade step-off: 10.45am from the Little Ship Club at Yabby Street. Assembly at 10.30am.
Main service: 11am at Welsby Street cenotaph.
Afterwards: Migle with locals and guests at North Stradbroke Island RSL Memorial Club, Dunwich.

Coochiemudlo Island
Ferry: Leaves from Victoria Point Jetty at 4.45am.
Dawn service: 5.30am at Main Beach Memorial.
Afterwards: Sausage sizzle and gunfire breakfast available for gold coin donation at Red Rock Cafe on Victoria Parade South.
No mid-morning service will be held.
Redland Bay
Dawn march step-off: 5am from Banana Street. Assembly at 4.45am outside Redland Bay Community Hall.
Dawn service: Starting at 5.10am at the Neville Stafford Park cenotaph.
Breakfast: For veterans at the Bayside South RSL Sub Branch, 22 Meissner Street.
Changed traffic conditions: Changed traffic conditions will be in place from 3.45am to 7am on Banana, Meissner, Outridge and Weinam streets Redland Bay.
Banana Street will be closed between Outridge and Weinam streets.
A free shuttle bus will be transporting patrons from Salisbury St Car Park, Redland Bay Hotel to Wienam St starting at 4am before the service and then returning after the service until 7am.
Russell Island
Club opening: 4.30am.
Dawn service: 5.30am at the cenotaph near the Russell Island RSL entrance along ANZAC Drive.
Gunfire breakfast: Following the dawn service at the RSL.
Main parade assembly: 10.30am at the corner of Canaipa Road and Cestrum Street.
Main service: 11am at the cenotaph outside the Russell Island RSL club.
Afterwards: Refreshments, live entertainment and lunch service, with afternoon games of two up offered.
Lamb Island
Dawn service: 4.45am at the cenotaph near the Lamb Island Recreation Club on Lucas Drive.
Karragarra Island
Dusk remembrance service: About 5pm at the Karragarra Island barge ramp.
Afterwards: Free barbecue for service attendees at Karragarra Island Foreshore Park.
Wellington Point
Main service: 8am at Wellington Point State High School Assembly Hall.
Carbrook
Flag planting: 10.30am at Great Southern Memorial Park on Mount Cotton Road. Veteran's charity Honour our Fallen will host the service. Members of the Redlands RSL in partnership with Faith Lutheran College will place flags on the memorials of service men and women resting in the park.

Belmont
Main service: 10.30am at Armistice Centenary War Memorial at Belmont Shooting Complex on Old Cleveland Road. The service will be the first held at the memorial, which was consecrated on Remembrance Day 2018.
